Returns Policy

1. Returns

  • Customers wishing to return merchandise due to dissatisfaction may do so within 5 business days of receipt.

  • Items must be in their original packaging and currently available on our website.

  • Returns of discontinued, clearance, damaged items, or partial orders are not accepted.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. A 20% restocking fee applies.

  • All returns require prior authorisation. Please contact your sales representative via email or phone before returning items.

2. Shortages and Damages

  • All deliveries must be inspected upon receipt.

  • Claims for shortages or damage must be reported within 2 business days of delivery.

  • Provide a signed delivery receipt, a list of missing or damaged items, and photos if applicable.

  • Email claims to: sales@vertaluxwholesalers.co.uk

  • Claims may take 2–3 weeks to process and require:

    • Detailed description of the issue

    • Copy of the invoice with item numbers circled

    • Delivery receipt highlighting discrepancies

    • Photos or samples of damaged/defective items where possible

Resolution:

  • In the event of a shipping shortage, we offer a refund of the purchase price or a credit toward future purchases.

  • Missing items are not reshipped.

  • Each claim is assessed individually.

3. Lost, Damaged, or Defective Merchandise

  • Customers must inspect and count all merchandise upon delivery.

  • Any discrepancies, such as crushed, opened, loose, or missing cartons, must be noted on the delivery receipt.

  • Notify your sales representative immediately and submit the claim by email.

  • Claims may be referred to the freight carrier for review and resolution.

4. Shipping Policy

  • Orders are shipped via trucking from our distribution centre.

  • After your first order and account setup, a representative will contact you regarding shipping fees.

  • Trucking quotes are estimates based on order weight and pallet count.

  • Transit times vary depending on the delivery destination.

  • All shipping is subject to standard handling and delivery schedules.
